I am attempting to install WU-FTPD 2.6.2 on HP-UX 11i , but just I execute
the command
./build CC=gcc hpx
this gives the errors messages such as:
Sleeping for five seconds, sorry for the interruption.
make args are :
make opts are : CC=gcc
Copying Makefiles.
Linking src/config.h
Making support library.
gcc -Ae -Dunix -O +Onolimit +DAportable -c authuser.c
gcc: +Onolimit: No such file or directory
gcc: +DAportable: No such file or directory
<command line>:4:2: missing '(' after predicate
*** Error exit code 1
Stop.
Making ftpd.
gcc -Ae -Dunix -O +Onolimit -I.. -I../support +DAportable -c
COPYRIGHT.c
gcc: +Onolimit: No such file or directory
gcc: +DAportable: No such file or directory

*** Error exit code 1
Stop.
Making ftpcount.

Stop.
I was seeing some hints that indicates the problem is around of the options
passed to the gcc compiler, and thar options are valid only for cc that
comes as the ANSI C Compiler with HP, but I dont have that. So apparently
the options such as -Ae -Dunix -O +Onolimit would have some equivalent on
gcc, and I must to change them, but what are the replacement for them?
Therefore I would want to know if somebody here has experienced some
similar problem...
