[HPADM] interrupting the boot process

Hi Admims:
I have a HP-UX 9000/300 10.20 , and I tried to interrupt the boot process by pressing the escape key and also CTRL B . Both of them are not working. I was wondering if I miss something here. I appreciate your response. Thanks.
