[HPADM] who -b no output

Hi Guru's

I'm not getting 'who -b' output in sun machine.(SunOS
osun5770.optus.com.au 5.8 Generic_108528-19 sun4u sparc
SUNW,Ultra-Enterprise).
and also 'uptime' no display for no of days.
utmpx and wtmpx is there /var/adm/ directory. syslog is also working.

Please advise me.
