[HPADM] mt status output

Hello All:

In the output from a mt status such as this:

Drive: HP C1537A
Format: DDS-3 format
Status: [41112500] BOT online compression immediate-report-mode
File: 0
Block: 0

Does the Format: output reflect the tape that is in the drive or
                            is it just the type of drive.

The reason I ask is that on some of the 11.0 systems I have
the Drive shows a DDS-3 and the Format shows a DDS-2 format.

If anyone knows I would appreciate the info.
