description/explanation about the 3 bundles. All those who respond told me
to do something like this:
swcopy -s /cdrom1/XSWGR1100 \* @ /sdux_depot
specifying *all* products in the depot.
The target directory will automatically be 'swreg'ed.
Here are some extra explanation regarding the 3 bundles:
The Extension Software (XSW) bundle was retired back in 2001 and those
patches are now 3 or more years out of date. The XSWGR1100 was replaced by
the QPK1100 bundle, which is available for downloading from
<http://software.hp.com/> http://software.hp.com or
<ftp://ftp.itrc.hp.com/patch_bundles/hp-ux/QPK>
ftp://ftp.itrc.hp.com/patch_bundles/hp-ux/QPK.
The Hardware Enablement (HWE) bundle will contain patches not found in the
QPK bundles, but are specifically created to support new peripherals or
systems.

Would like to confirm if this is the step I need to execute in order to copy
all SW(bundles). I have here 2 CDs. My objective here is to consolidate the

Steps:
1. swcopy -s /cdrom1/XSWGR1100 @ /sdux_depot
2. swcopy -s /cdrom1/XSWHWCR1100 @ /sdux_depot
3. swcopy -s /cdrom2/QPK1100 @ /sdux_depot
Question, is the above steps correct? Also, do I need to perfrom swreg?[Ruby
