Hi admins,
I am new to the shell scripts/HP-UX system administration. (HP-UX 11.00) Please help me with the following.
I would like to have a menu driven script;where I can choose options.
Option 1: to add a user
get the user id, group id etc., and create a user account using useradd with password expiry option (18 weeks), force password
Option 2: to delete a user
get the user id and delete the user account using userdel
option 3: modify a user
In case I want to modify the password for the user; get the user id and change the password
I used to do this using SAM. My new manager (grrrrr....) wants me to come up with a script for doing this.
Please help me gurus.
