Thanx to all who responded.
We rebooted the server Yesterday and lost all the disks. What we found was
the zones got de-activated for these two hosts( we are running ECC 5.1.1).
We don't have a clue. EMC is still looking into it. I will update once I get
a decent answer.

HPUX Gurus,
I am running into a strange problem which I don't have
a clue. We are migrating a HPUX 11.0 server from one EMC frame to another
and the host has four HBA's. One Symm is directly connected to the
host(LOOP) and another is in fabric. This was runniging fine until Friday
when I added a device from the new Symm to the host. Now I can't see any
devices from the symm which is in fabric (also I can't see the VCMDBDEVICE,
vcmfind fails). This is what I see in the syslog.log
Aug 4 09:24:59 KYARPP02 vmunix: ct_query failed. hw_path = 0/4/0/0
Aug 4 09:25:18 KYARPP02 vmunix: ct_query failed. hw_path = 1/10/0/0
These two HBA's belongs to the new Symm. Interesting thing is the devices
from the symm (in fabric) show as NO_HW. But this hasn't affected my
filesystems which are on the same EMC devices which are in NO_HW status.
