Hi Gurus,

I want to know how this can be achieved:

Scenario :

Two identical HP Boxes with my applications running
and getting ip packets in One of the LAN0 interface.

I want to avoid single point of failure by having Two
switches connecting to different LAN1 interfaces and
when LAN0 goes down physically LAN1 is configured to
continue the job..

ie.. some kind of Logical IP which at the background
cud be LAN0 or LAN1 and there is no real change for my
application and the box sending me IP packets..

Any thougts on this would help me a lot...

PS : I cannot do any changes at the application end as
of now ...

Thanks

Deepak Cutinha
