Hi,
I have a programmer who has a problem with the sort command and I think that
they may be hitting an in-built unix limitation. They are passing the sort
command a list of file names with a wild card , on the command line, to be
sorted to a final file, and are getting system call interrupt and it bombs
out. There is nothing like filesystems filling up in dmesg or syslog etc and
no kernal messages.

Does anyone know the limitations of sort? For example, the number of
parameters passed over or line length limitations...

Thank you in advance

Sanchia
