[HPADM] The G30 Saga continues...

Hello Admins,

I am still battling my G30, I have made some progress but that progress has
led to another road block. Since I last posted, I received an MDP panel and
cable and attached this to my ADP port on my 'SCSI/Parallel/MUX' board. This
did absolutely no good, I have an amber link status light on my panel and
get nothing at the terminal. So, I have gotten my hands on a new personality
board with a DIN type console connection and the console cable to go with
it. Low and behold I took out the 'SCSI/Parallel/MUX' board (it was not
being used) and replaced it with this new board. Got the terminal hooked up,
powered up the box and I have a console. I stopped the bootup so that I
could go into single-user and reset the root password; which is the reason
for this whole endeavor. I get to the ISL> prompt type in the hpux -is
(;0)/hp-ux command required for hpux 9.04 and it starts booting off of the
disc and then I get all of the following messages and the system PANICS.
(NOTE: prior to putting in this new board the system would come up fine, I
just could not get a console only a logon prompt off of a terminal connected
via a DDP panel)

The "no driver module available" pretty much tells me what I fear, but I
guess I am hoping that somebody out there knows better. Does this mean that
the drivers for this new board are not on the system? If so, is there anyway
around this that anybody knows of?

Thanks,
