[HPADM] Monitoring performance/Memory usuage of processes

I'm trying to look at the CPU and memory usuage of a process that is running over a long period of time. Unforunatly I don't have glance installed. top gives me the information that I require - however I've not been able to work out a way of logging this to file.

Any ideas?
