Probably a silly question, but I figured I'd ask anyway.
I'm currently designing a process by where we will split a business copy of
disks off the main system and mount them to a backup server. My question is
when mounting, does it buy anything if I mount them read-only? Other than
protecting the data itself from change (which may be a good enough reason).
