Check your /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf file, I believe the default is to start
11 nfsd daemons
and 4 would suffice. I have noticed the kernel is bigger and takes up more
system mem.

About 2 weeks ago I upgraded our machines to 11i from 11.0 with a cold
install.

Everything seems to be working but much slower with similar load averages
of 5 - 7

Before the upgrade our CPU average was about 75%-80% in glance, now it is
averages 95% during the day.
