 Done. Thanks to Ravi.

I have added " # ! /usr/bin/ksh" line at the beginning of script. The
problem was because cron executes script by default with /usr/bin/sh where
we can not set environment variables with "export = XX" while running from
cron.

Thanks to all again for your responses.

Regards,
Prasad

Subject: [HPADM] environment variable in cron

Hi all,

While running a script from cron that contains an environment variable,
the value of environment variable is not identified by the script. Where as
while running from shell, it is. Can some body tell why this is happening?

Regards,
Prasad
