[HPADM] Problem with NFS and PCs

We have a system that is on an old "d" class running HPUX 10.20. It is a
repository for data. There are a lot of PCs that use this system as an NFS
server. The list of clients is long and we have to use netgroup to get the
exports to work (line too long). None of the PCs are listed in the local
host file. They all use dhcp and dns. This has been working great.

Due to out of service and other things, this is being ported to a newer
system. The new system is HPUX 11i. We have set it up the same. It uses
the same dns and domain. The problem that I am having is it will not let
the PCs mount the directories. We get a permission or access denied. If I
put the PC in the local host file, it works. If I let dns resolve it, it
does not work. I called HP and they had me put some patches on. These did
not fix the problem.

Has anybody seen something like this or can point me in the correct
direction?
