[HPADM] automounter issue

Hi managers,

I have a C class 3700 machine loaded with HP-UX 11.0. This machine is in
NIS domain.. The problem is when the users login or user home is
accessed then user home gets mounted. Then if the home remain ideal or
logout, their user home though gets unmounted but the user name is
still visible in the common directory...

Like.. say john is a user which is mounted in NIS as /u/john . So if we
do ls -l /u/john then we can view the file listing of user john (since
the home gets mounted). But when the user home is not accessed for some
time then john gets automatically unmounted. But in my case an empty
directory is still present in the /u directory and if someone do ls -l
/u/john then he is unable to view any file listing.. which should not
be... because when someone does ls -l /u/john then again john's home
should be automatically mounted...which is not happening in my case...

I hope someone must have an solution to this...

Thanks in advance..

-Rajdeep
