Hi
I experienced random troubles with the ypldapd daemon
some entries that are living in our LDAP server database
suddenly disappear from the NIS client.
the ypldapd version is 3.01 ( latest )
The problem is very strange
when I perform
ypcat passwd | grep user
I can see the user entry in the passwd map
if I type
ypmatch user passwd
the system answer that it cannot find this user in passwd map
...
Anyone encoutered the same problem ?
PS : If I stop/restart the ypldapd daemon the user becomes "visible" again
