I've got the latest SAMBA 2.2.7 with winbind binaries installed on my
system, trying to accomplish two things:
1) make certain Unix filesystems available to Windows users
2) migrate all user authentication to the Windows password server instead of
the Unix passwd file
The trouble we're having is that the "groups" command for a user
authenticated from winbind is only returning a single group. If we use the
"wbinfo" command, we'll get a longer list of group id's, but won't get the
names.
Anyone out there have this kind of setup working that could give me some
advice, even perhaps examine my smb.conf file?
