[HPADM] Extending a mirrored Logical Volume

Hello Admins,

This seems to be a really simple task, but for some reason I am second
guessing myself so can you guys and gals please get me straight..
When extending a logical volume that is mirrored, is it neccessary to first
break the mirror, then extend the logical volume and then re-mirror? In this
case it is /dev/vg00/lvol5 (/tmp).
