Hello Admins,

Just a quick question about the ll command. What is the total that is given
at the top of the display on an ll of a directory? What does that number
represent? Below is an example:

<root@myserver> /oracle/PRD/sapdata10/btabd_224 # ll
total 4177936
-rwxrwxr-x 1 oraprd dba 2139095040 Nov 11 09:35 btabd.data224

Thanks in advance!
