[HPADM] Problem with Telnet

Hi Admins,
We are running a machine with HP-UX 11.0.
The system is not accepting telnet connections and fails with the following
error

telnetd: /dev/pts/ta: No such file or directory
.
Local flow control off
Connection closed by foreign host.

Any help on this is highly appreciated.
