I'm running the latest version of Ignite's make_tape_recovery. The backup
appears to work fine, but I get the following message near the end of the
backup log:
pax: unable to prompt user: /dev/tty is unavailable
Has anyone seen this or know what would cause it?
I'm running make_tape_recovery in a shell script. The terminal is active
during the running of the script/command, but it's a pseudo terminal via a
telnet connection.
Why would it be referencing /dev/tty -- isn't this for a rs232 connection?
My fear is that I'm writing towards the end of the tape and I'm not getting
a prompt/option to load a second tape.
Thanks.
