Dear Admins,
I am running A class server hp-ux 11i, but am facing problem with my /var filesystem as it is 100% full.
I have deleted all files from tmp dir. and also zeroised /var/adm/wtmp, syslog.log, mail.log, also rebooted once but
still am getting my /var 100% and now it is not writing aything to syslog.log also giving following error
vmunix: msgcnt 7 vxfs: mesg 001: vx_nospace - /dev/vg00/lvol8 file system full (1 block extent)
What does this mean and how should I fix this.
Do I need to extend my LV. If so then pls tell me how do I proceed
