Just got our anual HP support contract renewal paperwork (am I the only one
who jas grown to dreas this, because of problems _every_ year)?).
In any cas HP is saying that as of 05/31/2003 tjey will no longer support
our 600c *G externa; DAT drives.
Now, since these are my barw metal, disaster recovery devices (using
Instant Ignition), this concerns me _a lot).
Can anyone tell me what HP has in mind to do for bare metal recovery, if
not DAT drives? Somehow the idea of draging a FLT drive around to a given
location does not seem very practical, and I'm not even certain Instant
Ignition even knows about these drives.
What are other peopes plans for this?
