I am reposting this message with some additional information.
Does anyone have experience with NLS on HP-UX 11.0 ?? And/or, does anyone
know of any good web sites for NLS documentation ?? I have looked at hp.com
for NLS information, but it seemed to be very general. We need to look at
using some NLS libraries with SAP. If anyone has any knowledge to share, I
would greatly appreciate it.
The additional information is that I would like to provide the procedure
that SAP provided us, for setting up the NLS locale. Please note that my big
question is where do I get the lib<locale>.sl file from?? Also, has anyone
ever used this procedure? I am cool with everything except the
lib<locale>.sl file, I don't know what that is. I have talked with the ITRC
and they said this is not an HP procedure, by their standards the locale in
question is installed on the UX box. As far as SAP though, it is not
installed!??

mv <locale> /usr/lib/nls/loc/locales.1
mv <locale> /usr/lib/nls/loc/locales.2
mv lib<locale>.sl /usr/lib/nls/loc/methods.1
mv lib<locale>.sl /usr/lib/nls/loc/methods.2
mv pa20_64/<locale> /usr/lib/nls/loc/pa20_64/locales.2
mv pa20_64/lib<locale>.sl /usr/lib/nls/loc/pa20_64/methods.2
chmod 555 to all copied files
chown bin:bin to all copied files
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
