This is the solution of my problem:
1. Load PA-8700 enable patches:

(This will require kernel build and reboot)
2. Load March 2002 QPK11 (kernel build and reboot required as well)
This solved my problem.
I have investigated the problem a little bit deeper and I have found that kernel
build process after igniting failed (probably because of lack of PA-8700
patches on C3600 "gold system" - ignite image source)
I try to rebuild the kernel manually, but I got an error message. After applying
the PA-8700 patches I could rebuild the kernel without any problems. Then have
installed QPK11 and that's it.

Hi all,
I have a problem with graphics environment (CDE) on HP-UX 11 on HP Visualise
C3700.
After cloning this workstation using an ignite image that works on all C3000 and
C3600 workstations, CDE login does not come up.
HP-UX itself works fine, however I cannot initialise graphics mode.
I tried to change display resolution and refresh rate, but this did not help
(/opt/graphics/common/bin/setmon).
When I try to login using X-Windows client it works fine.
Has anyone had similar problem to this?
