Hi admins !
i've a strange problem using IE with ftp.
I want to connect to my HPUX serveur from a NT4 client trough Internet
Explorer with the following syntax:
ftp://user:password@hostname/dir1/dir2
The user is declared in /etc/passwd and have his home directory: /u/user,
with login shell /usr/bin/ksh
When i try this from my client, i can connect to hostname in /dir1/dir2.
When another user tries from another client in another country (with exactly
the same syntax), ftp want to connect him in /u/user/dir1/dir2 and then
error msg: /u/user/dir1/dir2: no such file or directory
Why is the home directory added in front of /dir1/dir2 ? How can i avoid
this ?
TIA
rgds,
