[HPADM] Wrong resolution

Hi

  I have a funny problem. I have changed a server's IP
address entry in DNS server from X to Y. I followed
all the procedures for changing a DNS entry. After the
modification, nslookup is resolving properly both the
forward and reverse. But telnet still searching old IP
address. eg

#telnet servername
trying
XX.XX.XX.XX

  And no result. Where as telnet with IP address is
working fine.

There is no entry in /etc/hosts for this serevr. and
nsswitch entry is like this

HOSTS Files [Notfound=continue] dns

  Can someone tell me where from it is searching the
old IP address.
