Hi All;
I'm in the process of upgrading an older C class box running 10.20 to an
L3000 running 11.0. We have been using Adobe Acrobat Distiller to convert
postscript to pdf. When I contacted Adobe to find out what version of the
product runs under HPUX 11.0, I was told by one of their very technical
customer service personnel that Acrobat doesn't run under UNIX because "It's
really old" and she suggested I convert to LINUX!! Well, after much
consideration, I've decided to stay with UNIX and look for another product.
Can anyone suggest an alternative to acrobat. I need something that has a
daemon and command available similar to distiller. Instructions on where/how
to obtain the product would be greatly appreciated as well. I will
summarize.
