All,

   I'm trying to run an rsh from a non-HPUX machine to an HPUX machine to get certain info.

   From AIX -> AIX machines = OK

   From AIX -> HPUX machines = FAIL

   From HPUX machine = OK

   From HPUX -> HPUX machine = FAIL

   The command I'm running is;

        rsh (or remsh) <hostname> su - <userid> -c "saposcol -s"

   If I run the su - <userid> -c "saposcol -s" part locally on the HPUX server it works fine.

   Am I missing something simple here, or is this a problem with HPUX's version of su ?

TIA
