Certicom's SC-400 series digital signature smart cards are designed to provide identification and authentication for e-commerce transactions (ANSI X9.59, AADS, SSL-based XML, IETF Trade, SETTM), National identity programs, Virtual Private Network access authentication, network, system, or device access authentication (SNMP managers, PC access, "terminal access", and physical access services. The SC-400 series smart cards provide the basis for non-repudiation of user actions and provide secure, tamper resistant and tamper evident protection of the cardholder's private key. The SC-400 smart cards also provide optional user data storage which can hold a full X.509 certificate or additional data as required for your business. |
