Description:

Time Machine is the leading date simulation tool for Year 2000 application compliance testing on midrange systems. Time Machine enables multiple users to test up to 200 different dates concurrently on the same system, while avoiding the limitations of resetting the system clock. This powerful tool facilitates safe testing on production systems as well as increased efficiency of dedicated test environments.

Time Machine includes a contingency planning feature that protects computing systems through and past the year 2000 until they are Y2K compliant. In addition, Time Machine is useful for local time zone viewing and processing, data center consolidation, rerunning failed reports or processing at a specific time, and period-end training.

Features:

  1. Simulates any specified system date and time for any program
  2. Each program can see adifferent "virtual" system date and time
  3. The virtual clock can be set into the past or future, running or frozen, and specified by absolute or relative values
  4. Exclusion list allows demo, timebombed and non-Y2K compliant programs to continue to function without expiring
  5. All calls to all virtual clocks and the system clock can be logged for due diligence documentation
  6. Contingency planning feature enables business continuity beyond Jan 1, 2000
  7. Contingency planning feature provides additional time for Y2K compliance testing by setting the virtual clock back several years
