This Linux-based, desktop appliance dramatically reduces the total time to deployment of VPN and firewall security technology.

The PDS 2110 features Check Point's VPN-1/FireWall-1 SmallOffice software. It's pre-installed for rapid deployment, and needs only a Web browser for easy administration. It also operates with Check Point's award-winning security management solutions, enabling centralized management. The PDS 2110 is suitable for the 5-to-50 user environment.

  1. The PDS 2110 is small enough to sit on the corner of a desk.
  2. It uses open Intel architecture and features a hardened version of Red Hat Linux for processing efficiencies and ease of integration.
  3. The PDS 2110 also includes up to three 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports -- a serial port and dual USB ports
  4. an Intel Celeron 500MHz processor; 64MB RAM; and a 340MB microdrive.
