The ORiNOCO™ Access Server 2000 (AS-2000) is a 802.11b based, enhanced security wireless networking system that operates in the 2.4 Ghz band. It enables highly secure, high-speed (11 Mbits/s) wireless data connectivity for thousands of users roaming throughout a facility. The AS-2000 provides true per user/per session encryption (128-bit RC4) by using a unique encryption key for both up and down traffic. AS-2000 is also compatible with next generation 802.11a 5 Ghz technologies.
