PORNsweeper is an add-on module for MAILsweeper for SMTP™ and works at the gateway to provide a policy-based content security and image analysis solution. PORNsweeper scans images attached to e-mails or embedded in e-mail attachments for inappropriate content such as nudity and pornography, according to your content security policy.

Features:

  1. Content-specific security operations – ability to define content-specific operations using defined classifications (actions) such as delete, quarantine, forward, notify etc
  2. Policies creation – ability to create policies at organisation, department and individual levels
  3. File attribute Setting – used for file processing e.g. minimum and maximum file dimensions in pixels
  4. Image file type selection – provides the ability to analyse from GIF, JPEG, PNG,TIFF and BMP file types (although it does not depend on file extension when selecting files)
  5. Image exception process - Enables image exception checking
  6. Face detector - Enables face detection
  7. Image-Type Policy - Facility to apply a different policy to each image type
  8. Confidence level setting - select a high, medium or low confidence level to categorize an image as unacceptable
