module (HSM) providing secure key issuance for registration authorities
(RA). Luna RA delivers secure, cost-effective key issuance in remote
administration environments. The product enables secure key issuance
for registration authorities and smart card management systems (SCMS).
Secure key issuance is vital for end-to-end trust within a digital
certificate based infrastructure. PKI registration authorities and
smart card management systems can now offer secure key issuance
with Chrysalis-ITS' Luna RA for a faster, more-secure and cost-effective
solution by leveraging an inexpensive smart card used in conjunction
with a FIPS 140-1 Level 2 validated HSM.
