Luna 2 is a security device
for identification and authentication , digital signing and encryption.
Luna 2 safeguards communications for high risk, high value transactions.
It offloads sensitive cryptographic processing from a host computer
and generates, stores, encrypts and decrypts information within
the security of a PC card to deliver a significantly higher level
of security than is achievable with software-only solutions. Luna
2 contains cryptographic algorithms for encryption, authentication
and key generation. The API for Luna 2 conforms to RSA Laboratories'
Public-Key Cryptography Standards #11 (PKCS#11). Luna 2 has been
validated to Federal Information Processing Standard 140-1 Level
2.
