RSA Keon Web Passport an easy to use downloadable credential store designed to make public key infrastructure (PKI) implementations easier by managing and simplifying the use of roming digital certificates. RSA Keon web Passport the latest addition to the RSA Keon PKI family, is designed to reduce the complexity of PKI by eliminating the need to deploy software on a user's desktop, and to increase the flexibility of PKI by enabling users to conduct secure e-business transaction from multiple systems in multiple applications. RSA Keon Web Passport helps organisations use digital certificates in a Web-based environment to help ensure that their transactions are authentic, confidential and digitally signed. RSA Keon Web Passport offers customers an easy-to-use and interoperable PKI solution to help them conduct digital transactions easily and securely from any PC with a browser. Using RSA Keon Web Passport, users can securely download digital credentials into a lo! cal virtual smart card from anywhere over the Internet, allowing them to work from multiple systems both at thier offices and at home. A user simply goes to a URL to conduct a transaction and authenticates to it using A RSA SecurID two-factor authenticator or secure password. Once authenticated , the RSA Keon Web Passport plug-in is automatically downloaded to the users PC.
