The GemPC-Touch440 is a smart card reader with a fingerprint sensor developed around the renowned Gemplus GemCore™ technology. Ergonomically designed, it makes smart card security easy and convenient by using your fingerprint instead of any password or PIN-code.

Ergonomic and compact, the GemPC-Touch440 fits easily into security solutions. Its biometric capabilities answer the issue of dealing with numerous passwords - a software-based security method vulnerable to hackers.

Connected to the PC through the parallel port and powered by the keyboard port, the GemPC-Touch440 opens up possibilities in computer and network security, electronic commerce, home-banking applications, and many others.
