Toshiba's PC Card Fingerprint
Reader locks a user's notebook at the BIOS level, enabling the same
level of security as a standard BIOS password, but with the simple
touch of a finger. Like BIOS level notebook security, Toshiba's
biometric PC card secures both device and data replacing or augmenting
password security. Users have access to one-to-one or one-to-many
search options. The one-to-many search option enables multiple users
to be registered into the system, if desired.
