Datakey CIP (Cryptographic Interface Provider) is Datakey's complete PKI smart card and interface software package for enterprises, enabling enhanced security and privacy for B2B e-commerce and e-business communications. CIP seamlessly integrates and interoperates with solutions from today's leading PKI vendors, including VPNs, extranets and PKI-ready applications or environments. The CIP suite gives users a secure storage and transaction vehicle for their digital credentials, adds two-factor security to PKI environments and provides the added convenience of digital credential portability.

Datakey smart cards, the hardware component of the CIP package, are the only 32K smart cards certified for FIPS 140-1 Level 2 requirements. They feature 2048-bit RSA key lengths and on-card key generation.
