The EntréPad is a low powered small form factor sensor designed specifically for the PC market. The Sensor utilizes the highly successful AuthenTec unique Trueprint technology. This technology gives the sensor the unprecedented ability to look past the easily obscured outer layer of skin to the living layer below, where the true finger print resides.

The small form factor, coupled with the low voltage makes the EntréPad sensor well suited for integration into the latest product offering including lap top and desktop PCs, PDAs, cell phones, and internet applications.

The EntréPad sensor incorporates the flexible "selectabus" architecture, three main interfaces, USB, 8 bit parallel and RS-232 serial connections. With "selectabus", many solutions can be achieved with only one SKU.
