Description:

Secure Wireless Access Technology (SWAT) provides an end-to-end virtual secure channel for transferring data over wireless networks. SWAT creates a trusted environment for PDA and future Smart Phone platforms: Palm OS, Windows CE 3.0 a.k.a. PocketPC and EPOC v6.

Features:

  1. SWAT creates a safe, cross-platform environment for running TCP/IP –based applications.
  2. SWAT uses public/private key pairs transferred over a secure channel to achieve proper authentication.
  3. Initial key exchange uses private-public key asymmetric cryptography Public Key Encryption: RSA, ECC.
  4. Transferred data is protected by symmetric cryptography: DES, 3DES, Rijndael (AES), ArcFour (RC4), Blowfish, Twofish.
  5. SWAT incorporates user authentication (PKI) to insure that the source and the destination are known, trusted entities.
  6. Authentication: LDAP-accessible X.509, SWAT certificate server.
  7. SWAT technology can be embedded as Java/C++ libraries, SecureSocket client/server application protecting TCP/IP socket traffic, or VPN application.
