The NetScreen-100 is a purpose-built
Internet security appliance that delivers firewall, VPN and traffic
shaping that is optimized for the most demanding environments such
as high traffice-business sites, co-locations facilities, ASP/ISP
data centers and enterprise central sites. The NetScreen-100 includes
a custom-designed ASIC for accelerated encryption and firewall function,
a high-performance multi-bus architecture, embeded high-speed RISC
CPU, and dedicated software. NetScreen eliminates these performance
barriers while still delivering ICSA certified stateful inspection
firewall security and the highest level of data security with 3DES
IPSec encryption support.
