Description:	Authentic8™ Secure Network (SNET) provides corporations with a simple and effective remote access solution for transparently establishing trust (authentication) and managing secure, encrypted connections over public and private data networks using public key infrastructures and smart cards. The SNET Gateway is a powerful, easy-to-use, management application providing centralized control over all access and security-related features including smart card management, encryption type, compression settings and revocation list. SNET builds on existing remote access and firewall solutions to provide an additional level of security and it is completely transparent to applications such as Lotus Notes, Microsoft Exchange and SNA communications. Similar to accessing an ATM machine, SNET Client allows a user to insert a smart card into the smart card reader, enter a PIN and gain access to authorized applications and resources. SNET Client works over direct or dial-up network connections and is compatible with a variety of smart cards and readers.
