• The Digital Television Group, DTG UK resource for digital television professionals. It has a guide to the complexities of digital TV broadcasting and receivers in the UK.
• World DAB forum with many links to DAB radio and other broadcasts
• 'What Satellite TV online' magazine. Printed copies are available from newsagents. It provides an overview of how to get started, what is new on the 'satellite' scene with advertisements from local and mail order suppliers. Note that occasional posts to news:rec.video.satellite.europe and news:alt.satellite.tv.europe have criticised some of the technical articles. The annual 'Tests' special articles usually have clear DIY instructions.
• 'Tele-Satellite International'. Order printed copies online. This is directed towards the trade and technical readers.
• SATCO DX  lists radio & TV channels on geostationary satellites.
• The Lyngemart 'satellite chart' provides technical data for all satellite TV & radio channels in the world in the Ku, C and S bands, including links to home pages, teletext services, footprints maps, address info and logoshots.
• Spreadsheets to help set up satellite dish mounts are also available from David A White's site.
• Digital TV: UK coverage, BBC digital programs, 'ON Digital', 'BSkyB' and 'Sky digital'. With links to news, sport and movies.

• 'Rosegarden suite' A free musical notation editing and sequencing system for a variety of machines running Unix and X, in particular SGI. workstations and PCs running Linux.
• 'Shoutcast' web site with streaming audio. It also has 'free' audio server software. It  enables Windows or UNIX computers, with Nullsoft's 'Winamp' audio player and an Internet connection, to broadcast streaming audio. It includes links to audio servers.
• Sibelius music notation software: 'Sibelius' v 2 @ £595, 'Sibelius Teaching Tools' @ £57.57, 'PhotoScore Professional' program for scanning printed music @ £199 and 'PhotoScore MIDI' program for documenting output from MIDI sequencers such as 'Logic', 'Cubase' and 'Cakewalk'. @ £149.
