The SPECweb99 score of 21,000, achieved on an IBM eServer p690 running Zeus Web Server Version 4, surpasses all non-Zeus results by a factor of two. The traffic handled is equivalent to the combined output of eBay, Walt Disney and Excite1 being served by a single machine running one Zeus license. Zeus Web Server has consistently been proven to handle huge amounts of traffic, showing the software to be a bullet-proof platform for mission critical web sites. Through close relationships with hardware vendors, Zeus are able to offer software that is consistently compatible with available operating systems, offering extreme stability to web sites running on the Zeus Web Server.

The SPECweb score of 21,000 was achieved by members of the Zeus and IBM performance teams, using Zeus Web Server Version 4 running on an IBM eServer p690 with 16 Power4 processors and 192 GB of RAM. The eServer runs on IBM's AIX operating system and the tests took advantage of the new Fast Response Cache Accelerator (FRCA) in AIX. The combination of the eServer and Zeus Web Server provides the highest levels of security and web performance.
