I suspect the host name entries in the /etc/hosts file are not correct.

Subject: Mail config problem on AIX 5.2
OK - I'm scratching my head on this one.
Box #1: F80 AIX 5.2 ML-1
Box #2: B80 AIX 5.2 ML-2
Box #1 has netsvc.conf and resolv.conf set up to use DNS.
"hosts=local, bind" Box #2 is the same Both boxes have sendmail
configured.
Box #1, DNS and mail work all the time.
Box #2 when DNS is turned on, internal mail fails, but DNS lookups work.
Box #2 when DNS is turned off, internal mail works, but DNS lookups do
not work.
I copied the sendmail.cf, resolv.conf and netsvc.conf from Box #1 to Box
#2 and it still does not work like Box #1.
Any ideas ?
