Subject: File name with & in it

Hi *,
I have a peculiar problem,i had a file on windows whose name
had
an '&' character in it, and unfortunately i have ftp' ied it to my AIX
box.
When i am trying to delete the file, as soon as it encounters the '&'
character, it comes out as abackground process, it does not even allow
me to
rename the file nor move the file in to a directory (so that i can knock
of
the directory). I suddenly got an idea, that i have connected from
another
system by FTP and renamed that file from ftp prompt, and then i could
delete
the file. I am sure there would be some way doing this from the local
system.

TIA
