Praveen,

Yes, you can do it. Copy the dump to a file (via smit dump, dd or snap
command) and use the "crash dumpfile_name unix" command to analyse it. For
a complete guide on AIX Core Dump analysis take a look on SG-246185.

There's a lot you can do without IBM. I have determined problems faster
than IBM by interpreting my own core dumps.
